Sweet Inspiration The Klaus Brothers Penny Watson Books

Now this was what I was looking for! There can be no mistake that this is a Christmas book, Santa is in it for crying out loud, and I was not left wanting by the romance.
Nicholas and Lucy do not beat around the bush and don't try to resist their attraction or even put off having sex. This book is very much an adult Christmas story.
Really like the world that was created and I'm looking forward to reading more about the Klaus brothers.

Sweet Inspiration The Klaus Brothers Penny Watson Books Reviews

The Klause family has five sons who help in running the toy-making dynasty of the North Pole. This is the story of the first son, Nick, who is the Klause family heir, the man who is to become the next Santa. In search of perfect recipes to add to his collection as a master baker, he meets Lucy, a girl who makes wonderful sugar cookies. An immediate attraction develops.

What follows is fairly predictable in some ways, but I thought this take on Santa was unique enough to keep me interested. I felt like the story was a little short. More interaction between the main characters would have been nice. Fewer scenes with the brothers would also make the story flow better. While I understood the need to include them to set the stage for sequels, their dialogue seemed boring because they were interchangeable.

I did love the discussion of the bakery and the recipes, as well as the world that has been created in the North Pole. I would love the next books to add more detail and show more of the magic of the elves. I don't know how much I would have enjoyed reading this story in July, but this book really filled my need for a Christmas romance that was a little different. At the lower than average price, I think this book is definitely worth grabbing over most of the other Christmas romance this year.
Nicholas Klaus is the eldest son and destined to be the next Santa. But his real love is baking. He's an excellent chef, and while looking for new flavors and recipes, he found Sweet Inspiration bakery.

Lucy is the owner of Sweet Inspiration. She loves and enjoys to bake, and her cookies are the best. She is very sweet and cute, but also lonely. But when she sees Nicholas at her store, it's love at first sight.

Both felt in love instantly, but it wasn't until two weeks later that they finally talk to each other and it turns out both of them have been having hot dreams with the other one.

Personally, I never thought Nicholas Klaus, Santa's son, could be so sexy. I always imagine Santa as a fat, cute and red old man. But obviously that's all a lie! Santa is in shape and all of his sons are sexy.

Nicholas Jr. is definitely hot! He's very serious, but he's sweet and charming with Lucy. Their romance was cute and sometimes too sweet, but their love scenes were exactly as I like them, spicy and romantic. And I was very happy with the ending, it's the perfect HEA. They are made for each other.

This book is perfect if you want to get in the Christmas mood. It's heartwarming, and while I read it I felt as if I was surrounded by snow (which it's impossibly with 32C). I loved the elves and that the author included the Klaus family, they are so funny.

Overall, it's a perfect light romantic read, excellent for Christmas. I can't wait to read the sequel, Sweet Magik, which is going to be available Christmas 2011, and features Oskar Klaus, the bad boy.
Lucy Brewster is feeling a bit lonely as Christmas approaches. Running her own bakery, Sweet Inspiration, keeps her busy, but with no family to speak of the Holidays can feel a little...empty. But all that's about to change.

Santa's oldest son, Nicholas Klaus, Jr., has heard that the best sugar cookies can be found at a little bakery in a tiny town in upstate New York. He visits Sweet Inspiration in search of the secret recipe and finds himself completely smitten by the bakery's pretty owner. Since Nick can't exactly reveal his identity to Lucy it doesn't appear that their romance will ever get off the ground. But fate intervenes and Lucy is introduced to a whole new world...and a family of gorgeous Klaus brothers to go with it!

This is one very cute Christmas fairy tale for grown-ups. There are elves and magic. Flying sleighs. Smokin' hot men. Love scenes hot enough to melt the polar ice cap. Ladies, this is NOT your mother's Santa Claus! Granted, it's a little "out there" but I thought it was a lot of fun.

Now they say time seems to speed up around the Holidays, and you certainly feel that way while you're reading this story. Lucy and Nick fall in love in near record time and Lucy becomes the darling of the North Pole in all of 48 hours! But hey, this is a fantasy, right? And who doesn't over- indulge in the sweet stuff just a little (OK - a lot) during the Holidays? It's a warm, charming and spicy little story - Enjoy!

Some strong language and sexual content. This is one Christmas story that's definitely not meant for the kids.
A fun take on Santa Claus and his family. Although I read the story in July it was still an engaging , enjoyable read.
Such a fun holiday read. The series focuses on Santa's sons. This is the first born, destined to take over for Santa. He finds love as he is trying to spy on the baker of the best sugar cookies he has ever tasted. Nicholas and Lucy could not have been cuter together. Lots of North Pole magic, elves and shenanigans in this book. The Klaus family interaction was fun. Nice quick afternoon read.
Very romantic and magical this redemption of Santa Claus was very entertaining and delightful read. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the next installment. Definitely recommend.
Santa is real! Lucy gets the shock of her life in the instalove, tooth achingly sweet book. Since I love those things in a romance novel, this was perfect for me. It’s November so I’m ready to get in the Christi spirit and this book helped!
